I guess I shouldn't be surprised...

Well,  the installer/supplier that provided the toxic mess in our house that some call drywall has filed bankruptcy!!

So now we have no builder to go back too since we built our own home, our homeowners insurance denied the claim, and now the installer/supplier is bankrupt!  How did he go bankrupt, he hasn't repaired and or settled with anyone whose home he put this garbage in!!  

I am so tired of all the bad news I get!  I am tired of not having my children with me, I am tired of sleeping on the coach at my brothers already, I am tired of knowing that ALL of my furniture is ruined, I am sick and tired of not having my HOME!!!

We can afford our home, we pay our taxes, we want our family back together having a normal life, not this sick twisted joke of a life of our children having to stay with my parents so that way they are in safe non toxic home and my husband and I sleeping on coaches at others homes just so we don't have bloody noses, headaches, sore throats and congestion all from just being in our home!!!

I miss my normal, sane life........will I ever get it back?

Frustration

Everyday the frustration level gets higher!  I am so tired of the no knowing if my family is going to make it out of the hell okay.  Are we ever going to get out of this hell?

For those of you that are unaware of Chinese Drywall I will give you a quick education!

Back in the years 2006-2007 the US was hit with hurricanes and housing boom!  So do to the factors of re-building due to the hurricanes and the housing boom in some areas of the US imported drywall made in China.  This drywall has caused MAJOR DAMAGE to my home and family life!  The drywall is being tested and so far the EPA and CPSC (environmental protection agency and consumer product safety commission) has discovered that the drywall DOES contain higher sulfur content and organic compounds that are not found in AMERICAN Drywall!  Let me tell ya'll this drywall STINKS!!  My house smells not like the "rotten egg" smell that the media keeps talking about to me it smells more like a chemical, acidic smell!  It burns your nose and eyes as soon as you walk in my home.  Not only that my children, husband and myself suffer bloody noses, daily headaches, sinus infection after sinus infection and I have had bronchitis SIX (6) TIMES in a little over a year!!!  We all were healthy before we moved in our "dream" home!!!  My poor 5 year old son breaks out in hives on almost a daily basis BUT all of our symptoms DISAPPEAR when we are our of home!!!!  

We have sent our children to stay with my parents for the summer till we can find a "safe" place to live!   It is horrible being seperated from my children.  

I am mad and frustrated with everything!  

Our homeowners insurance has denied our claims, there is no help from anyone! 

We will be moving to a safe home next month BUT we will have to leave EVERYTHING behind!!  No furniture, linens, kitchenware or anything!  I don't care about myself sleeping on the floor but the thought of my children not even having a bed anymore breaks my heart beyond repair!  We won't even have blankets to cover up with or towels to dry off with.......the list goes on and on.......

I will update on here our journey through this....hopefully there will be a happy ending!
